Eagle RC Raceway - Nov 1 Race
Event Information
Eagle RC Raceway is a ~800ft outdoor offroad track with a focus on family friendly racing and bringing new drivers to the sport. The track owner, Don, puts in tons of work to create an unbelievably nice race venue for us to enjoy! Please come by and check it out!
Drivers are asked to register at the track no later than 11:30am on race day.
The track utilizes Robitronics RS163 IR transponders which must be mounted with "line-of-sight" view straight up for the overhead receiver to pick them up and score the vehicle. The track only has 8-12 transponders available, so racers are asked to bring a personal transponder to make units available for those new to the track. Transponders can be ordered from Big Mike's Hobbies in Longview, online vendors, or Ebay for $35-40.
MYLAPS/AMB transponders will not work with the Robitronics system.

Eagle RC requires 3 cars for a class to "make".
Each class typically runs 1 qualifier. The top 6 cars advance to the A Main. 2 cars are bumped from the lower Main(s).
There is a 6 minute "run what you brung" OPEN Class race that provides an opportunity to drive the 1/8 or 1/10 scale vehicle of your choice. This is especially nice if your class does not "make" that day.
