US Buggy Championships

The holidays are now firmly in our rearview mirror, winter will soon be an afterthought.Naturally we are left looking for a direction to point our competitive focus. Look no farther than Trackside Raceway…
This year’s installment of the U.S. Off-Road Buggy Championships falls on April 7th 8th and 9th. This marks the third installment of what has become another hotly contested title at Trackside! Join us in April for another great spring weekend of racing!!
The 2017 event will play host to the same vehicle-specific race classes, showcasing some of the very best open-wheel racing in the country!! As has been the case previously, race entries are limited to 2WD and 4WD buggies.
The race format will include 3 rounds of qualifying (rocket round structure) and showcase 10 Minute mains with bump-up format. 2WD classes include: Sportsman, 17.5 Blinky (Zero Timing), Modified. 4WD classes include: 13.5 Blinky and Modified. Entry Fees: 1st Entry - $35, Additional Entries - $20 and Sportsman - $20. Classes to follow ROAR guidelines.
Schedule of Events:
Friday, April 7:
Doors open at 12:00pm, Open Practice until 6:30pm, Normal Friday night race program at 7pm
Saturday, April 8:
Doors open at 9AM, Open practice until 11:45AM qualifying kicks off at 12PM. 3 Rounds of qualifying. (Resort after round 1 and 2)
Sunday, April 9:
Doors open at 8AM, Racing begins at 9AM. Each main is 10 Minutes, Top 2 bump up. Awards presentation to follow!
