This is a first annual race to be held at the Vineland Speedway, but sponsored and presented by Hotrod Hobbies! A big thanks to Hotrod Hobbies for getting involved with this event, and for providing trophies (or plaques) and prizes! Pre-registration will be available at Hotrod Hobbies! Each paid, pre-registered entry will be entitled to a free lunch at the track (burger or hot-dog, pop & chips... a $5 value)! Kids (16 & under) pay $5 for registration, and may run up to two classes for only $5 extra for the additional class. RCSignup will be used for pre registration, although registration at the event is acceptable as well. Each class will require a minimum of 5 racers in order to properly marshal the following race. Each driver is required to marshal the race immediately after their race. This race will be a trophy race. Quantities of trophies will be determined as entries are received, and entries are finalized. Stay tuned for more on this... Our goal is to complete racing by the late afternoon to avoid a marathon race day. We will water the track lightly before each round of heats, and also before the mains to control the dust. This is a fun event with no points on the line,.. just bragging rights! We will be doing bump ups for the main events. The winner will have the option to bump into the next higher main if desired. The AMB system (with RC3 firmware, so the MRT transponders will still work) will be used as usual to score and time the event. Personal transponders will be required.
