This is race #3 of a 4 race points series to be held June 7th, July 5th, Aug 23rd and Oct 18th. Kids (16 & under) pay $5 for registration, and may run up to two classes for only $5 extra for the additional class. RCSignup will be used for pre registration, although registration at the event is acceptable as well. Each class will require a minimum of 5 racers in order to properly marshal the following race. Each driver is required to marshal the race immediately after their race. Points will be calculated for this series, and the top three results will be used to determine the finishing points order (so, after 4 events, the lowest result will be dropped). Plaques will be awarded to the top points finishers at the final race. (Note there will not be any cash awards or credit prizes for this series as there were in past years.) We would like to tighten up the schedule from what was run last year. Our goal is to complete racing by the early afternoon and avoid marathon race days. We will water the track lightly before each round of heats, and also before the mains to control the dust. The AMB system (with RC3 firmware, so the MRT transponders will still work) will be used as usual to score and time the event. Personal transponders will be required.
