July 11th-13th. SPARC R/C Raceway will be holding the Inaugural Summer Shootout trophy race. the classes we will be looking to offer are; 1/10th 2wd/4wd Buggy Open 1/10th 2wd Stadium Truck Open 2wd Short Course Truck Open 2wd Short Course Truck 17.5 4wd Short Course Truck Open 1/8th Electric/Nitro Buggy 1/8th Electric/Nitro Truggy The minimum numbers a class needs to run is 5. 1/10th and SCT classes run 6 minute quals/7 minute mains 1/8th Buggy and Truggy will run 6 minute quals/ 10 minute(electric) 20 minute (nitro) mains Qualifying will be Live Loop starts with Qualifying Points to determine main order. Mains will race with 10 + 2 bumps Schedule will be; Friday - Open Practice from morning till dusk. Registration can be done when I get to the track to help make Saturday morning easier. Saturday - Drivers Meeting to start at 9:15-9:30AM. Qualifying to start at 10AM. Qualifying rounds 1-3 run with a resort made after round 2. Open practice will be allowed after the 3rd round of qualifying is done. Sunday - Qualifying round #4 to be started at 10AM with the mains following the qualifiers. If it looks like there will be a lot of racers in attendance, then we will run round 1 of Qualifying on Friday and do rounds 2-4 on Saturday and make Sunday main day. All racers are encouraged to use RC Signup for this event to help me determine which classes are generating interest. We will accept some late entries but please let me know if there is someone who will be coming so that they can be put into the computer. Cost for the event will be 25 for the first class/10 for 2nd/ 5 for 3rd and the 4th class will be free. There is onsite power, area to camp as well as food and drink available at Colosantis Tropical Gardens on the same grounds.
